Sebbe ist von Anfang an bei Beyond Medals dabei und hat die Entwicklung der Marke maßgeblich mitgeprägt.

Jahrelang war er auf der Contest-Szene unterwegs und hatte stets so gut wie jeden Trick im Repertoire, der für einen Sieg nötig war – und das meist mit dem besten Style. Auch wenn er es nicht ganz so oft aufs Treppchen schaffte: Sebbe beim Snowboarden zuzusehen, war ohnehin immer spannender als ein Blick auf die Ergebnislisten.

Er ist ein Ausnahmetalent – ob im Park, im Powder oder bei Sprüngen: Sebbes Fahrstil hat etwas an sich, das einen einfach nicht mehr loslässt.

Er gehört zu den Urgesteinen und ist nach wie vor einer jener Snowboarder, die uns daran erinnern, dass es beim Fahren weniger darauf ankommt, was man macht, sondern wie man es macht.

Split boarding.

What do you spend way too much money on?

Snus and flight.

Best trip ever?

Hard to pick one trip but if I had to choose it would be La plagne, France 2023, most productive, high crew energy and lots of snowboarding. While filming for Get Buck, We didn’t have many clips yet and almost pulled the plug on the project since it was already march. Luckily on my birthday the 14th, we got blessed with a solid 30-40cm of snow and ended up having the best 3 days in a row stacking clips. Starting of the day after the storm hitting a jump session together with Tor. We both stacked 4-5 clips each on that jump and got us back on track with the project. After the session we build a big jump for the next day. The next morning we noticed a lot of places got wind affected so we decided to hit a spot more sheltered. After hitting the spot and getting a fun clip we decided to go back up to the big jump and go check the snow. Despite our feeling, it ended up still really good and we decided to hit it first thing next morning. The big jump was a new one but everything lined up perfectly. Started of with a first try FS7 to get the session started, followed by my first swbs10 in backcountry, ended up landing all my goes and everyone walked away with some banger clips. We ended up hitting another jump after to keep the hyped going where tor got a sick Bs Air and I did a fs rodeo. Safe to say that was a beautiful ending to our last day of the trip.  We drove straight to our winter homebase in Laax and had a couple brews with the whole crew at Riders Hotel to celebrate the trip.

What’s your hidden talent?

I’d like to think I have a pretty good internal compass. I seem to always find my way back, trusting my gut feeling.
